This compact, completely portable, water-saving dishwasher is perfect for small families, renters, dorm rooms, and those living in tiny houses and RVs.
World’s only fully self-contained dishwasher (patent pending). No fill or drain hoses needed. Just open the front door, pour in three liters/quarts of water, load the unit, replace the door, select a cleaning cycle, and turn it on. Description of Services:

Concept Development –
Brainstormed and developed multiple concepts for detergent delivery mechanism, how to store and seal multiple detergent types in one container, solutions for off gassing, sealing and resealing the cartridge when inserted or removed, and guiding the cartridge properly into the system.

Engineering – Owned the concept development for the detergent cartridge and pump subsystem. Created multiple 3D printed prototypes to prove out consumer detergent cartridge and the in-unit receiver. Sourced existing components and hardware for sealed detergent and pump tube connections.
Created prototype for buyer pitch meetings for cartridge and pump subsystem. Assisted in final prototype unit assembly and fit checks for pitch meeting.

3D Modeling – Created CAD models in Solidworks for cartridge and pump sub-assemblies.

Prototyping – Used 3D printed components, off the shelf hardware, and other raw material to create a fully functional detergent pump interface.

Results – Featured on NBC’s TODAY Show and CBS’ Innovation Nation, Tetra was also named CES 2019 Best of Innovation Honoree Award in the Home Appliance Category, the 2019 Best of CES award by Bestproducts.com, the 2019 CES Best of the Best award by Best Reviews, and named a 2019 CES Top Pick by Mashable.
