My name is Matt MacLean, the founder and Lead Design Engineer at MacLean Creative. I love to make great products! I am a Mechanical Engineer by trade who excels at identifying consumer needs and developing product design solutions with the end user in mind. I am passionate about designing products that solve an outstanding problem for the consumer and will have a positive impact on people’s everyday lives.

I have observed what works and what doesn’t work in many styles of product development while working at three different Fortune 500 companies and one of Forbes “America’s Best Small Companies.” My curated approach uses a collection of the best methods I learned from industry leading design and engineering teams who have brought to life some of the most recognized consumer product brands.

I value the importance of rapid design iterations involving consumer-focused design thinking. I make it my mission to develop feasible solutions on time, at cost, and within quality standards.
